Delete Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your Butcher Boss account and all associated data.
⚠️ Warning: This action is permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove:
- Your user profile and login credentials
- All business and branch information
- All stock, sales, and expense records
- All employee accounts under your business
- All reports and historical data
- Any active subscription
This data cannot be recovered after deletion.

Consider these alternatives:
- Export your data first - Use the app's export feature to save your records
- Downgrade to Free plan - Keep your account with limited features at no cost
- Contact support - Let us know if there's an issue we can help resolve
How to Delete Your Account
1 Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open the Butcher Boss app
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Enter your password to confirm
- Tap Permanently Delete
2 Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to request account deletion:

Hello,
I would like to permanently delete my Butcher Boss account and all associated data.

I understand this action is permanent and all my data will be deleted.

📅 Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you're logged out
- Within 7 days: All personal data is removed from active systems
- Within 30 days: All data is permanently deleted from backups
Data We Delete
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Business information and branch data
- All stock records and inventory history
- All sales transactions
- All expense records
- Daily summaries and reports
- Employee accounts and permissions
- Subscription and billing history
- Local data stored on your device (you may need to uninstall the app)
Data We May Retain
We may retain certain data as required by law:
- Transaction records required for tax/legal compliance (anonymized)
- Communications related to customer support
- Data necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
